UK and EU Governments hold second cyber dialogue

The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) announced that the second UK-EU Cyber Dialogue took place on Thursday, 5 and Friday, 6 December in London.  The agenda included:

  • Exchanges of views on our respective approaches to cyber resilience, secure technology and digital identity,
  • Deterrence strategies against cyber threats,
  • Countering cybercrime, including ransomware,
  • Working with the multi-stakeholder community to uphold a free, open, secure and peaceful cyberspace,
  • The Pall Mall Process to tackle the proliferation and irresponsible use of commercial cyber intrusion capabilities,
  • Cyber skills,
  • Cyber capacity building.
