UK competition promotes cybersecurity careers to young people

The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) has launched a new competition to encourage young people to pursue careers in cybersecurity. The UK Cyber Team Competition, which is open to 18–25-year-olds, aims to simulate real-world scenarios across a range of cybersecurity areas and provide opportunities for participants to represent the country globally. This initiative aligns with the government's efforts to address the cybersecurity skills shortage and is part of the National Cyber Strategy
