UK publishes post-Brexit data protection guidance

The UK government has issued guidance on how organisations should handle data protection and data transfers to the EU once the Brexit transition period ends. The guidance outlines what will happen to the GDPR from 1st January 2021, and that companies may have to use standard contractual clauses for data transfers should an adequacy decision not be reached.
