UNICEF spotlights advancement of children's privacy

UNICEF has posted a blog article reflecting on its work advocating for children's privacy protections. The article highlights the prominence of the issue received at the IAPP Global Privacy Summit in April, in which UNICEF participated in several sessions. Furthermore, Unicef has held meaningful discussions with the ICO leading to good data governance practices such as the UK's Age Appropriate Design Code. UNICEF has also held talks with other countries, including Ireland, France and the Netherlands, who have introduced similar practices.
