The US House Committee on Energy and Commerce has published a transcript following its Subcommittee on Innovation, Data, and Commerce's hearing on 27 April to discuss federal privacy legislation. The hearing was the sixth hearing addressing privacy and data security this year.

"The best and strongest way to ensure kids are safe online and prevent Big Tech from manipulating them is with a comprehensive national data privacy and security law," McMorris Rodgers said.
