Serious privacy concerns of apps removed from Apple, Google stores

A report by privacy and analytics platform Pixalate has found that of the applications removed from Apple and Google’s app stores, 59% and 25%, respectively, did not have a privacy policy. Furthermore, 86% of the 813,000 apps removed from the Google Play and Apple App stores targeted children 12 and under. The report analysed over 5 million apps searching for consumer privacy and security risks.
