The World Economic Forum posted a balanced article looking at both sides of the privacy debate when it comes to efforts to address child sexual exploitation. While the article doesn't have a solution to the polarising discussion on child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and E2EE, it calls on regulators to engage in multi-stakeholder cooperation to develop a comprehensive understanding of the various interests and concerns. Furthermore, it recommends that actions be grounded in necessity, proportionality, and legality.
