Worldcoin introduces open-source cryptography standard

The Worldcoin Foundation has introduced an open-source system aimed at enhancing the security of sensitive data, including biometric information. The system, which is available on GitHub, establishes a new standard for data protection, utilising secure multi-party computation (SMPC) to securely distribute data across different locations. The organisation, in collaboration with technologists from TACEO and Tools for Humanity, has successfully developed an implementation of SMPC to overcome previous scale and cost limitations.
