Emails reveal Facebook's plans to address future data-scraping breaches

What were meant to be internal emails were accidentally sent to a Dutch media company (article in Dutch) after a news editor made several enquiries requesting an update. Facebook subsequently included the journalist in an internal emailed discussion thread. The contents reveal Facebook's strategy for dealing with data-scaping. "Longer term, though, we expect more scraping incidents and think it's important to both frame this as a broad industry issue and normalize the fact that this activity happens regularly."
