Google has expanded its search removal requests to include additional personal data. While users can request the removal of certain sensitive information, they can now request data such as phone numbers, email and physical addresses are removed from search results, along with information that poses identity theft risks. Google announced the Search Global Policy in a blog post, stating that the updates “give people the tools they need to protect their safety and privacy online.”
